Forrestfield – Cockburn Rail Resleepering Project
McDonald Surveys were the main contract surveyor on this project. This project involved the resleepering of 35kms of dual track between Forrestfield and Cockburn to Brookfield rail standards. McDonald Surveys introduced state of the art, new technology in the form of the Trimble GEDO Vorsys system and Trimble SBS 900 machine control suite to the project.
